“DVCon Europe brings the European engineering community together to share experiences and present the practical use of Electronic Design Automation standards, languages and methodologies for design and verification. DVCon Europe 2017 includes 2 keynote speeches, 2 panel sessions, a broad range of papers and posters, 16 tutorials and an exhibition with demonstrations from leading tool, IP and service providers. It will be held at the Holiday Inn Munich City Center, Munich, Germany on the 16th and 17th of October, 2017. Based on matching your interests, I open for you www.dvcon-europe.org for a closer look. Do you want me to start arrangements?”

Ok, I must admit that my small Artificial Intelligence Assistant experiment ended today still differently, but I’m convinced that getting the AI application results described above is just a matter of time.

The Steering Board has worked year-round to make both days of the DVCon a great experience for you. Once again, this year’s DVCon Europe has a fantastic program, packed with tutorials, panels, keynotes, technical presentations, and an attractive exhibition. Each day will begin with a keynote held by a prominent Industry speaker. Mr. Horst Symanzik from Bosch Sensortec will kickoff DVCon Europe with his presentation “Consumer MEMS Products: Quality Rather than Commodity” and on Tuesday Mr. Berthold Hellenthal from Audi will present his keynote: “Driving Virtual Prototyping of Automotive Electronics”.

The DVCon Steering Board Members have written very interesting blogs to highlight certain aspects of the Program, including Tutorials, Papers, Panels and the Exhibition. The blogs emphasize their different viewpoints and can be found here: https://dvcon-europe.org/blog.

At DVCon Europe there’s great opportunity to learn and upgrade your skills on thriving, next-generation applications, such as autonomous driving and wireless communication towards 5G cellular systems. For example, the Steering Board has invited industry experts to share with you their insights on the path to 5G. Besides the diverse learning opportunities, DVCon Europe also offers quality time for networking, for example, during the expo reception.

Munich, home of DVCon Europe, is a special place where high-tech and traditions like Octoberfest cohabitate well. There are many good reasons to visit Munich. Therefore, stake your place in the European design and verification community and register today for two days of intense collaboration, education and networking.

The DVCon Europe Steering Team would be happy to see you at the event, and are open to discussions on improvements. I wish you a warm welcome to DVCon Europe 2017 in Munich.
