As summer holidays are approaching, it is a good moment to escape from our daily business ‘woes’ and explore exciting opportunities for the future. Finally, the moment arrived to read your favorite book, spend time with family and friends, travel to your favorite holiday destination, or simply fix that long lasting issue in your garden or house. For the technology enthusiasts and scouts in our community, the summer break could be the perfect time to start learning more on Machine Learning, RISC-V, autonomous driving, 5G, Digital Twin, Internet-of-Things, or other emerging technologies in our industry.

While you enjoy the summer break, the DVCon Europe 2019 Steering Committee is working continuously (yes, even during summer!) with its task of collecting industry best practices and technology development news, and bringing this together in the DVCon Europe 2019 conference program. Thanks to the high number of submissions, we are able to compile a strong and compelling program, focusing on system-level design and verification of integrated and embedded systems and products. Also this year, DVCon Europe will embrace new and emerging technologies which are important for the design and verification community, and integrate these into the technical program.

Like in previous years, the DVCon Europe 2019 conference is a 2-day event with tutorials, paper sessions, panels, two keynote speakers and an exhibition. We are currently finalizing the content of the program, which will be published in August. The SystemC Evolution Day is planned the day after DVCon Europe, and the program for this special day will also be announced in August. Along with the announcement of the conference program, registration will open. So stay tuned!

The DVCon Europe Steering Committee wishes you a good summer holiday break! And keep an eye on the DVCon Europe website and mailings where we will publish the program soon.
